Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine is a 2500 year old Chinese tradition performed by licensed practitioners. It is based on the premise that illness, dysfunction, pain, lack of energy, etc., are due to the improper flow of energy (Qi) in the body. There are many theories explaining Qi. While the Ancients believed it was the Vital Energy that gives us life, the blueprint of our genetics, more modern theories equate it with the electrical impulses of the nervous system, the Autonomic Nervous system, and the facial planes of the body’s connective tissue. With the use of sterile, disposable needles for acupuncture, Chinese herbs and nutrition, heat therapy, cupping, electrical stimulation, , TuiNa (Chinese massage) and topical applications, the acupuncture practitioner can correct the imbalance and dysfunction of energy that is causing ill-health and pain.
The powerful combination of Acupuncture and Herbs can not only treat, or cure painful conditions and many internal disorders, but has a great degree of success in reducing the symptoms of many health problems which elude modern medical treatment.
