The class will include discussion, lecture, questions and answers
on the history of Reiki, the flow of energy, chakras, including Eastern
and Western applications of Reiki. The class also includes a private
1 1/2 hour Reiki treatment, attunement and time to interact with the
flow of Reiki energy.
Reiki II is the continuation of our Reiki series. This level of Reiki
is termed Oku Den which means 'deeper knowledge'. Upon completion
of this class, the student will be able to perform as a practitioner
of Reiki. In order to complete this level of training, the student
will be required to complete a designated number of Reiki sessions
with supervision of the instructor following their second attunement.

Having a child for the fist time is an exciting time in ones life.
This class offers information, choices and provides a basis for options
and alternatives, Based on the motto of the International Childbirth
Education Association, “freedom of choice based on knowledge
of alternatives” . A few of the topics that will be discussed
are relaxation techniques, writing a realistic birth plan, comfort
measures in labor, choosing a healthcare provider/place of birth,
stages of labor, benefits of a doula/labor support, medical interventions,
cesarean birth/VBAC, and introductions to breastfeeding and baby care.
The primary goal of this class series is to prepare women and their
families for labor and childbirth by empowering them with information
and presenting options. This class is interactive with activities
and a multimedia presentation format.
All topics are presented from an objective viewpoint honoring each
families right to choose the birth that is best for them. Parent topic
suggestions during each class series are always welcomed.

This class is designed for the newly pregnant
woman and her partner. Spend an evening together learning about your
baby and some of the exciting changes and decisions surrounding pregnancy.
The class will touch on:
• The
development and growth of your baby
• Learning
how to nurture your body and your baby
• Exploring
the upcoming changes of pregnancy
• Practicing
basic exercises and stretches
• Discuss
choices for care providers and place of birth
This is a one day class open to individuals and couples.
Pregnancy is a time of many changes. Some of those changes can bring
physical discomfort. There are many strategies to decrease this discomfort.
This class is designed to teach partners how to relieve tension and
pain in commonly affected areas like the hips, low back, feet, shoulders
and neck. Comfort measures for labor and childbirth will be taught.
The health and well-being of the mother and her baby are of the utmost
importance at all times. It is recommended that pregnant women wait
until their second trimester to partake in this class. If you have
a high risk pregnancy, a doctor’s approval will be required.
