Pregnancy is a time
of many changes. Some of those changes can bring
physical discomfort. There are many strategies
to decrease this discomfort. This class is designed
to teach partners how to relieve tension and pain
in commonly affected areas like the hips, low
back, feet, shoulders and neck. Comfort measures
for labor and childbirth will be taught. The health
and well-being of the mother and her baby are
of the utmost importance at all times. It is recommended
that pregnant women wait until their second trimester
to partake in this class. If you have a high risk
pregnancy, a doctor’s approval will be required.
